This Website provides information about us as well as travel locations, airfares, flight times and dates, tours, packages, insurance, cruises, transportation, foreign currency, schedules, travel companies and many other things.

Most of this information is supplied to us by third party providers. Although we take our utmost care to ensure this information is current and correct, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of such information where it has been provided to us by third parties. Therefore, we accept no responsibility for the accuracy of that information supplied to us by third parties. We recommend that you confirm all information contained on or linked from the Website with the relevant third party provider.

Further, as you will appreciate, some changes to information including schedules and pricing may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Examples of these types of changes include weather, environmental, political, strikes, terrorist and other types of incidents that are unforseen and not reasonably within our contemplation. We will endeavour to notify you  as soon as we are able to of these changes however we cannot guarantee that you be notified of all changes within a reasonable time and you will bear the risk of changes to your bookings which are beyond our control.

Whilst we use our best endeavours to provide you with the best value in all pricing we do not represent or warrant that the advertised price as displayed on our Website is the lowest available price at any point in time. We will not take any responsibility for any form of compensation or reimbursement if you locate a lower advertised fare after booking with us.

Restrictions and conditions apply to all travel products and services offered on this Website. These conditions and restrictions may affect the prices set out on the Website. To determine the applicable restrictions and conditions you must contact us or the relevant third party provider. The third party providers of travel and travel related services may change prices, details of package, tours, flights and other information displayed on the Website at any time. Therefore, all prices displayed on this Website are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability.

We are committed to notifying you of any additional charges, including but not limited to all relevant taxes and airport charges as of the date when you confirm your booking with us. However, these may be subject to change prior to your departure.

• the replacement of products or supply of equivalent products;
• the payment of the cost of replacing the products or acquiring equivalent products

The online booking facilities of our third party providers utilise.

Within our online booking facilities there are two methods of transmitting credit card information to the booking:

• The user submits their details during the booking process; or
• If the user has an existing profile, the information is sent directly from our profile database into the booking, bypassing the Internet entirely.

TERMS and CONDITIONS related to bookings and reservations

Prices

All prices are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed without notice.

Travel Documents

Travel documents are all those documents used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider (whether in electronic form or not). Travel documents may be subject to conditions including but not limited to being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation or amendment fees. All travel documents sold through this website are non-transferable.

Airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport or identity holder. Some flight carriers will cancel your booking and deny carriage if there are any discrepancies in the reservation.

You are responsible for collecting all travel documents prior to travel. We recommend you contact your travel consultant the day before collection of your travel documents to confirm they are ready for collection.

Schedule Changes

You are responsible for contacting the airline prior to travel to ensure the departure time has not been rescheduled.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all international travel. We can provide you with information about travel insurance. For details please refer to our Financial Services Guide.* (do they intend to provide travel insurance?).

Passports and Visas

You are responsible for obtaining all passport, visa and re-entry permits that you may be required to hold by immigration or other government bodies. If we assist you in obtaining any information regarding visas, passports or re-entry permits the final responsibility remains with you and we do not warrant the accuracy of the information we provide you or accept any responsibility for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on such information. Any penalties, fines, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of not meeting the requirements or holding relevant documents will be the sole responsibility of you.

Please note that all countries require a valid passport to travel and many countries will require a passport with 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry.

International Airports and Carry-on Baggage

From 31 March 2007 there are new rules for taking liquids, aerosols and gels on international flights leaving and entering Australia. These rules are designed to protect you from liquid explosives. Please refer to:

Health

You are responsible for obtaining all health information on requirements of your travel destinations and that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation.

Taxes

Some taxes may be mandatory in certain countries. You may be charged an additional local tax at some airports and this may change without notice.

Cancellation fees

We cannot provide you with a refund until the funds are received from the relevant third party provider. Cancellations will incur charges that may be of up to 100% of the cost of booking regardless of whether you have commenced travel. Fees may be charged for variations to bookings or reissuing tickets.

Changing or cancelling domestic flight bookings will incur a fee of $33.00
Changing or cancelling trans-Tasman flight bookings will incur a fee of $33.00

Credit card transactions
Where credit card surcharges apply, if a service provider is unable to provide the services contracted for, your remedy lies against the service provider, not Aeon Travel. By making payment to Aeon Travel by credit card you agree you will not attempt to charge back your payment from Aeon Travel.

Travel Money

You are responsible for arranging your finances for travel including travellers cheques, foreign cash and any other forms of money you intend to use during your travel.
